Without having seen an episode, let along the opening credit scene, it’s now theoretically his favourite show. ![]() ![]() Over the last week, I started talking to him about Scooby Doo, Where Are You? – the one cartoon that would stop me in tracks. The latter two offerings being a prelude and promise to a half decade of time into his future. ![]() Shows like Looney Toons, The Muppet Show, Gummi Bears, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and a small taste of ThunderCats and Star Blazers. ![]() Raising a four-and-a-half-year-old sure does have some great pop-culture upside.īesides revisiting my fave comic book characters via his (and, let’s face it my) collection of superhero figurines (the awesome Fisher-Price DC Imaginext line, by the way), and looking at (but never touching, not at his current age) my most beloved comics book issues and collections ( Batman, Star Trek and, crazy enough, even certain pages and panels from Swamp Thing), there’s the viewing of the all-time greatest cartoons from when I was a kid. ![]()
